some folks just want to see the police when they need em...other than that we turn good days for people into very bad ones just by doing our jobs....just the way it is. However, I believe that the majority of people generally like the police.

he get hooked up for D.W.I. or just get a load of tickets? I guess we will never know since he will not say who he is...
thanks to stan browning for removing the poor taste post of ttrac2008. but again I have moved on and I am still sleeping good.
thanks for the support from my friends on here and to those who I have not met I look forward to it one day.

I totally agree officer's should be more interested in the whole "Protect and Serve" than anything else. The one's that get me are on 75 in plano. They love to pull people over in rush hour and back up the highway for miles!!! Now that there is a h.o.v lane they can't do it anymore!!! That is an awesome charger and Im sure it will run down a 95 Chevy just fine..

Mike, I love the new cars, I have to admit I was one of the people you talked about looking at the cars while Corinth's Finest were getting some lunch at Subway :-)

Police officers, like anyone else have some bad apples in the ranks. I don't see it so much these days I think because the personality screening process must be better. There are still a few that get through, but for the most part the officers I have had contact with are very nice and professional. The thing to remember is we can't judge an entire population for the wrong doings of a few. Also, officers are people and I would imagine that the attitude of the officer is proportional to the attitude he receives. On the other side of the coin, obviously the young man in this thread has had some bad experiences with officers. Don't condemn him for having a bad attitude because it may be a result of the treatment he has been given by officers. I am not justifiying it, I am just saying there are two sides to every story. To be fair, we should understand this. He said he was sorry and I feel that he probably just reacted without thinking it through. I didn't even get to see the post, it was gone before I got a chance to, but Mike told me about it. I would bet that his attitude would change if he was to meet the right officers.
