Said i had just finished eating the kansas state record catfish. 40# flathead 35# blue

This was the third time I broke the record after catching and releasing the same fish. I believe a turtle has bested my record since this time because I have not caught him again in years and don't believe he is in there anymore. Of course he did not use the official family scale so I still hold the record officially! 10lb blue on a jug (thanks to all my forum buddies for the tips)
