my brother killed a 80 lb hog at the deer lease and we threw the tenderloins, backstraps, and one hind quarter on the pit and they were good.
i would almost take a wild hog backstrap over a steak

Looks very good.

Here are pics of my pork on my Smokin Tex smoker. Not wild, bought in the package from the store. Before and after! Has me hungry also.

Yep that's the best thing to do on a cool rainy day- fire up the pit and tell stories. I bet it didn't last long did it?

I have had mine for about 5 years. I did have to replace the element once, but it was only 20 bucks and I really use mine alot. I really love this smoker. Super easy to use. Only put wood chunks in, in the beginning and then let it go. I can't go to a party without bringing something from it or I will get in trouble. They are a bit pricey, but you will be completely satisfied.
