I have a son in the Navy deployed in the Middle East on the USS LaBoon. They have been over there since August and wont be home til February. He has missed being with his wife and 2 kids for Thanksgiving and will miss being with them for Christmas and their wedding anniversary before he gets home. It is sure a tough time for all our soldiers serving in that area.
Since I already have a Crappie Fishing 101 DVD, if I buy another one, can you send him 2......one for him and one for the entire ship he is serving on? Dont know if that has ever been done before but those guys are starving for something to do during down time (which aint much time) When they are at sea they work 16 hours days out of every 24. Let me know this is possible and I will send you his address over there.

This is awesome Ernest and I commend you for it. My dad served in the military and I put in for selective service out of high school in the mid 80s, but was never needed. I commend you for this fine deed your doing for those who sacrifice for our freedom everyday. I just wish our politicians would understand that sometimes.

Thanks for the prayers for the kids. Most people dont really know what these military people go through since they are not directly involved. I mailed a package to him back at the first of October and it still isnt there yet so it takes a lot of time for letters and packages to get over there. He does have access to email when the opportunity arises so I email him just about every other day.

Chuck, anytime and they are needed. My cousin and two close friends are deployed and worry about them and their families every day. Stay strong and know he is appreciated by many people here on TFF and across this country.

Got one of Ernest' DVD's willing to send it to someone deployed in Iraq or Afghanistan. Sorry Ernest but no sell here. I know the feeling of waiting and wondering and the anxiety of having a child home safe and sound. My son-in-law just returned from Iraq in August. Glad to have him home. If you have an address for a soldier/sailor/airman or marine I'll get it in the mail. DB
