I was wondering which console everyone prefers. Do you worry about your partner comfort or do you like the extra room? juggle

Prefer a single for the room.

But its nice to have the second console when other people are around.

Dual. I have only owned one single and won't do it again. As for a space savings, in some boats it will be minimal. The first time you end up in the passenger seat of a boat running 60+ across the water, you will come to appreciate that second console.

I got a dual console, mainly because I have a 5 year old, and when he gets tired, he sleeps under the second console. If he was older (teenage) I probably would have gotten a single console to have the extra room.

I like having a single console for the ease of getting around the boat, as well as the extra room when not on the deck. But, I fish alone in most cases. If I fished with someone most of the time, I would go with the dual.
But, I always order my boat with the second console ready for install upon resale.

I think the dual console will sell a little quicker. With the price of boats it has now become a family purchase instead of an individual purchase

Dual for comfort of passengers, extra storage, and resale.

I have a 21 foot Skeeter it has plenty of room even with the extra console.

On a 19' boat single on a 21' boat Dual. I went with single on my new boat because it is 18'6". If it would have been 20'+ I would have went with the dual.

I hate to fish with guys who have single consoles unless they let me run the boat.

Dual. Like they have said for resale. And the misses will like it on those cool mornings!
