i thinking about soaking some shrimp tommorow ! what do yall think?

I was wondering if we will get to make Snowmen on the pier again this yr . Believe it or don't we did that . Really snowed on Christmas in Galveston .

Tuesday 18 th Galveston Fishing Pier Report . A few fisherman out weather nice , water nice and some catches. Keeper Reds , Keeper Drums and some 14-18 in whiting .

went fishing tuesday! man it was tough! couldnt catch a keeper red they were undersize 18, 19, 19.5 and drum 12, 13.5, 13 ! the only one with any luck was mike catching all the keeper reds and drum!
I manage some large whiting and a nice sheephead !
next time hopefully ill have better luck!

i believe i would of had to try a stretch that 19.5 incher!!! good report!

yeah mike does cheat by having the best fishing spot for employees only! lol

Now I know where Mike Fishes and I think my fav spot is just as good as his . Lol we both catch fish and fish and more fish . Remember the sigh says" fishing starts here ".Lol as alot of people have learened it does.

Beautiful weather on the pier today . low 70's winds 5mph, water sandy . Only caught 1 keeper red and 1 keeper drum but we caught 31 whiting over 1 1/2 lbs to 2 1/2 lbs . Wife caught a monster whiting 3 lbs 2 oz . BIGGEST DAM WHITING I EVER SAW . Almost as big as the red I caught . Saw 2 bullreds caught from t head . Most were catching whiting and a few gulf trout and some sand trout . MERRY CHRISTMAS !!!! ( if that offends anyone TUFF SH%T)

man if my car didnt break down i would have been fishing! looks like it was a good day fishing.
man the winter just brings out the big whiting!
p.s. there been many days were I have fished from that picinic table a filled the cooler full!

Yep that is where my wife and I were setting .

TOO COLD to fish so went to movies . With another cold blast coming it may be next March before we go again . My bones are to old to take cold weather . I talked to Sonia at the pier . NO FISH ,NO FISHERMEN , COLD AND WINDY >

My sentiments exactly. If it gets below 60 degrees it feels like 30 to me. Just cant take the cold anymore like I used to!

Gawd Dang . Froze my butt off at the dam movies . Them crazy people had the ac on and me and wife shivered for 2 hours . Saw that girly flick PS I LOVE YOU good show BUT rather have been catching fish . Weatherman calling for upper 60 's Jan 4th Friday so might go and try it then .
