www.progator.com

I've had the privilege of touring their facility.

ZARASPOOPY is too modest to post this link it seems. I'm not affilliated with ProGator in any way.

I'll post some pic's of Captain Edd's (as he's known of the TFF) ProGator boat.

Not going to get into a pi$$ing contest with any mass production rigs, but after seeing them built and for the money, I would rate the ProGator with anything that floats.

WoooooooMule...It's a bird, no...it's plane, noooo...it must be BABYGIRL II!!!!!!!!!!!

On the serious side. I am a repeat customer, first go around is a 1995 170V ProGator. I'm proud to say she has been where boats simply aren't suppose to go chasing green fish, and she went anyway. She has taken three metal rods, sure you can see the evidence of them. But she has never seen a fiberglass shop. As far as the transom...still as solid as the day it was built. Retirement is NOT in her future! Try putting a screw in one of their transoms without properly pre-drilling it...opps you will twist the screw in two trying to get it in, Been there and done that. Yep, that piece of screw is still there.

If I should ever want another boat...she will sport the name BabyGirl III. With no other manufacture considered.

That's a beautiful boat in the making there spooky. Keep us updated. What engine you gonna use to turn that "fan for a prop" you got got there?

To all...there is only one BABYGIRL bolt

Your "Wanna be" boat ???? That's pretty strong.

Try promoting without degrading others. It works much better.

Settle down, it's just a boat. We play in them on the weekends. In the grand scheme of things, it's not worth getting all worked up about and offending others.

HasBen, the weight is still yet to be determined as Mr. Moore is still fine tuning the storage areas. I will post the final weight when he gets it. ProGators, typically are heavier due to added structure in the hulls.
I am looking forward to putting this hull in the water.
Thanks Capt_Edd, I agree with and know what your saying. I fish out of several makes of boats and some guys get a little sensitive when I want to take thiers where we go in ours. Thamks for mot taking a shot at any other specific manufacturer.

I've been out of town. Sorry to have offended anyone. I'm just proud of the durability of the product and a well satisfied customer.

I bought one about 15 years ago over in Vivian LA. That was the closest bass model I could find. They do have a couple of dealers in the TX Bay area.

Visit their websight. Then contact them. The Moore's are a super family to work with. You will feel part of the "Gator" family. There isn't a whole lot of surplus stock. They build "spanky's" boat. Each boat is custom made, one at a time, the way you want it. They aren't mass produced. Still hand laid. From the East to West coast, it doesn't matter your location.

Stringer and transoms are composite.

They are one of the few manufactures of anything that prefers to work directly with there customers. If possible on the customers part, they want you to watch them build your boat.

Hey they aren't for everybody...you know there's Ford and Chevy. Look around at as many boats as you can, just please consider a Pro Gator also. Take a tour of the plant if you can. After all, our toys are our toys, and we must be happy.

I'm no guide, not on a "prostaff", nor "sponsored", nor anything else but just a fisherman. The Moore's treat everyone the same, fairly!

Usually, either Donna (daughter) or Mrs. Moore answers the phone when someone calls. They have some literature they can send you if it would help, since your out of town. They have lots of pics.

Hmmm...someday when I grow up, I'm gonna get me one of those instead of my little aluminum boat.

I just spoke to Donna and the recessed trolling pedal will be availabe if the coustomer wants it.
The 21 footer will also offer single or dual consoles, this again at the coustomers option.
Ball park figure on the hull should be between 3600 to 3900 and I hope I am right on that one.
Right now I am just looking forward to getting in some motor time in it.......lol
There is a possibility of a dealer in Granberry Tx area, more on that later.
I hope I covered all your questions, and if not, you can call them direct (318-965-2520) or mail me.
