Just found one of my Goodyears (Marathon, not Endurance) flat on my dual axle... very odd, have pumped it back up and it seems to be holding air for the past few hours. It's held air fine for a little over a year (as long as I've owned the boat), so not sure what happened. Maybe a slow leak has developed since I last ran it, not sure. Will let it sit overnight and see if it's holding air tomorrow... If not I guess I'll pull it and take it to local tire shop and see what's what.
EDIT well turns out it was a nice sharp screw... luckily right in the dang middle of the tread so was easy repair for the tire shop... But the treads are getting low, time to start thinking about replacing them. Probably going to go with Endurance - they really aren't that much more expensive than the other options most often mentioned like Carlisle, etc. I do see posts where guys say I bought xxx for $65 ea but I never seem to see those deals lol...

Just blew a 4 year old Endurance. I keep them air up to the max or close. It blew after I got off 276 onto 549 so not at high speed. I am guessing that I might have picked up some road debris causing tire to lose air and then blow. I was going to replace all 4 next spring. Looking at the price difference between Carlise and the Goodyears I am thinking about getting a Carlise and then rotate it to the spare and buy 4 new Goodyears next year. Between now and then I might make a few trips to Fork and maybe Tawok.

USA Made Goodyear Endurance tires is the only tire I will purchase for boat trailer tires and I have them on my lowboy trailer as well. I recommend tire covers like RV'ers use if your trailer tires are constantly exposed to sun.

Removed the tire yesterday and suspicion was correct. Looks like nail or staple. I think it blew making a right hand turn after losing air. Inside of the sidewall is perfect. Tires are 5 years old and I was planning to replace next spring. I am going to replace this one with a Carlisle and then use it for a spare.
