new thread started in the Bass Fishing section.
i will say we are thinking about opening this tournament to all boats. only stipulation will be. 1)if you don't own a bullet, you must take a test ride in one on friday before the tournament. 2)if you do own a bullet and you take a test ride in a new one, then you will recieve a free t-shirt from bullet or mercury.
what do you guys think about this?

I see the point.....but I was hoping to see nothing but Bullets. I guess if we want Bullet Boats to be a sponsor it would be the best thing to do.

i agree. But, when Ken and i talked about this. He told me that when a man buys a Bullet, it's NOT his first boat. It's usually his 2nd or 3rd or ?? Point is when guys are ready to step into a performance hull like a bullet, they usually have some experience. So this would give some guys that currently own a bass cat or triton or skeeter to take a ride for "free" in a 21xrd with 300xs and "feel the excitement" of a bullet. And to fish a big bass tournament on Lake Fork.
Oh, and if you own a bullet... it doubles the money won?? that sounds good, huh? that may be possible to arrange.
just give us all your ideas so we can make this a great spring time tournament.

I fore see alot of boats for sale in March. 90% of the people I meet with these boats ie. Skeeter, Basscat etc... have never stepped foot in a Bullet let alone rode in one.

That's exactly the idea of allowing others to fish this tourny. It will give owners of other boats the opportunity to see first hand how the bullet runs and handles. If they like them, great. if they don't that's okay too. The bullet is NOT for everyone.
