Yes, net and Yes lots of bluegills. Caught these tasty morsels while catching bait. The nineteen made a gallon bag of fillets or 8 lb.

Nearly all shallow water with reeds in it. Took about 20 minutes to catch these 19 eaters along with about 30 sunfish, and ten bait size Tilapia.

I've caught them there as well-very good eating! On the half shell with cajun seasoning its hard to beat!

Man I'd love to get into a mess of Tilapia like that....my favorite seasoning on them is paul prudhomme's redfish magic.

I-45 South of Dallas-North of Houston, Take Hwy 84 and follow the signs into Fairfield, all turns are marked with brown State Park signs.
is it a lake or a pond ???? or creek ???
2500 acre power plant cooling lake.
and the spot to catch them ???? plesae
any of the shoreline south of the boat ramp will work right now.

I just throw in know areas where I have caught them and know there is little brush. Most areas are fine to throw in, the fish do move around from time to time. Water temp. plays a big part in it.
