I hate to say it, but I agree with an aggie. Wal Mart batteries have done me right so far. The big, yellow ones. Go with the biggest ones you can fit in your boat.

I just replaced a BPS Xtreme AMG group 27 trolling battery that was 6 1/2 years old... all I ever did was plug in the charger when I got home.

That was 6 1/2 years of trouble free and maint free service... I've never ran them down even in a 14 hour day of fishing.

Make no mistake TROJANS are the best. 30 yrs of competitive fishing and no batteries I have ever used have every been better all day on the lake or lasted longer than the Trojans.

I am with womin_4_bass, Interstate. I am sure many have had problems with them. I would stay away from Continental Batteries.

Dual Pro AGM but very pricey, so I went with Cabelas brand AGM.

I never have had good luck with Interstate batteries. They did not last any longer than cheaper batteries from Academy.
