That is truely a monster pike. Most pike fishermen will go their entire life and never see one even close to that.

So the first fish was caught with live bait and so was the second fish.

The current world record is 46-lbs. 2 oz out of Sacandaga Reservoir in New York waaaaayyyyyyy back in 1940. This fish will definitely slaughter that as it appears to be well over 50-lbs.
I'm currently looking for more info on it like official weight. Many people will tell you that they have seen 6+ft pike on that lake. A few of them are divers that were working on the bridge repairs a few years ago..

Just found out the picture is a European northern pike and not caught in North America. Caught in Holland
