For all you guys that were out on Buch today, I wish we could have met with you, but Team Belton Bunch was on Stealth Mode. That's why you didn't see us at the ramp for the start. Oh yeah, we were there, but we were just hidden. LOL. Sorry if we held you up but we did have a few unforeseen scenarios arise on us this morning. We really enjoyed it, but obviously it would have been better to leave with the money and some fish but it still was a nice day on the lake and I would love to do it again. Good Luck with your next tourney and I hope the fish are plenty. If any of you are around Belton, shoot us an email and someone from the BB will surely show you the way of Lake Belton and catching our hybrids.

It was great to meet all the new folks that fished the TSA tourney at Buchanan, including 4 from the Belton Bunch! THANKS FOR YOUR PARTICIPATION! WE LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING YOU AT MORE TOURNAMENTS, INCLUDING TEXOMA ON 10/27!

It was a fun day, and all were presented with different weather throughout the day, including a Northeast wind to start, east to southeast winds that brought a rain shower or two, and a finish with northerly winds and the threat of more rain. Here are the results:

Team Piggy Perch, consisting of Greg Lock and his son John, took first place and big fish with a total 13.94 lbs, the big fish going 10.12 lbs.

Team Strip-a-holic, Trent Miller - a regular on the TFF, and in the hunt for a second TSA Tournament Trail Championship - took second with 7.18 lbs.

Team Sea-R, Randy Singleton, our host and Tournament Director for the event, took third on his home lake with a 6.82 lb stringer.

We had 12 teams fish and only have weighed a fish...tough day.

Looking forward to seeing more of you at Texoma, 10/27.

I've been thinking about getting into a striper tourney for a while now and the one coming up at Texoma sounds intersting. I'm picking up my new boat this weekend (sold my Cajun) and it should give me enough time to get used to it before the tourney.
