I have been informed by Cabelas that they no longer carry McCoy - it is not on their website anymore either and is not in their new catalogs.

I use McCoy's hi-vis line for 3 reasons already mentioned.
1. Low memory
2. Very abrasion resistant
3. Strong

I believe last time i found it it was on TackleWarehouse.com I love mccoys line it is just hard to come by.

I have used McCoys for over 2 years now. I have only used the 17 lb test. Knocking on wood, I have never had a fish bust off with McCoys. I have used numerous types of lines in the past, but McCoys is by far, some of the strongest line I have used, and my bite ratio hasn't been comprimised at all. I have decided over the years that green is one of the best colors for line.

Pat (the owner) is a really nice guy. I'm a big fan of McCoys. I found some at a takle shop out by canyon lake.

You can always go to their website and buy (unless they no longer do that).

When I got engaged, I tied my wifes ring onto a snap swivel and tossed it in the water for her to reel up. Used McCoys, sent an email to them, and Pat called me back. We chatted it up for a while. Great guy who backs his product.

And the people at Cabelas wonder why I don't go in there very much any more, not very much that they carry that I need. Fishing wise that is.

They may be in need for a management change at the Cabelas in Fort Worth.
EVERY TIME I go into that store - they NEVER have basic common items in stock for fishing products.
I went out there last week for some of the reel handle pads which they have at just about every tackle store - Cabelas does not have them.
Even Olsens Pro-Am has those in stock.
Owner Treble hooks in Red - Don't have them.
I basically quit going to Cabelas for anything. I would just rather make the drive to BPS. at least there I know they will have the basic stuff in stock.

How fast can you get it here for me? Chris and I will be out there Thursday. We are preregistered already. We, I have decided to forgo any prefishing the last weeks. If she's in my hole, she's there, and no need to waste a good one on prefishing.

If you are going to be at Lake Fork - Lake Fork Tackle has McCoy Mean Green in stock at their store.
It is located at the corner of hwy 515 and hwy 69 across from the Brookshires.

I appreciate that info, trouble with LFT is, they only seem to be open when something big is happening around Fork, and I'm passing them nearly 3 times a week when going to Fork.

Either way, if there open, I'll stop just to make sure I have some.
