How is Tommy getting his boat on the lake? I know he ain't launching at the doppler. I'll have to email him. Guess I will have to take the little boat out on one more excursion before I take it to my son-in-law.

Keep on fishing.

OK, Now that yall have determined that the fishing reports are provided by Tommy and that they are legitimate the next big mystery is: Where is Tommy launching, or How did Tommy get his boat on the lake?
Maybe he prefers to keep that a secret.

Around 4,000 acres at normal pool, more with it 15ft up.

Well I took a little cruise around the lake and didn't see any trailered boat launching activity. If you had a tractor to pull you out, you could probably launch at doppler, but I wouldn't recommend it! Yep, Yep maybe someone has a secret spot or setup.....

Just because the ramps are closed does not mean that you cannot fish out of a kayak. The worst problems you face is keeping the stringer untangled and your drink cooler in the kayak. Oh by the way if you do launch your kayak from the shore watch out for the snakes they are everywhere and I mean big snakes.

Could you launch at the primitive launch up the river - Box 7, I believe - just up from the narrows?

I would pay $100 dollars to see Tommy guiding out of a kayak for an entire month. He can only use paddles! wink

If you want Tommy to find you, you will need to flash the Batman spot light up into the night air but you will need to modify it first. Make sure your lite shows "$".

GM, those little snakes won't kill ya. Unless you shoot your foot again! I told you to wear your specks when you tried to shoot that darn snake.

Now is a time to have a small portable boat! Figures, I just sold mine... smile Time to inflate the raft... GM are you still up for a trip to the lake in my raft? I will let you use the TM. Um... I mean the bigger paddle...

smile

Now that would be a sight. I would pay $200 to see GuyM and Sabot crappie fishing out of a raft. Sabot where would you mount the side imaging sonar on the raft?
