What I have learned with having three 12 volt batteries is that if any of the three batteries or BMS's go down you still cannot run anything. Therefore, you have to rely on three BMS's working correctly instead of just one. Well….you could throw a regular ol battery in its place and go fish. The benefit of three is when one locks up, a simple connection to another good 12v usually wakes it up. Ya know…..like one of the other batteries in your boat, or even your truck. I had a BMS go bad and waking it up did no good. It would work intermittently but usually didn't work. It had to be warrantied. Can you mix a regular lead acid 12 volt in with the lithium's in series? Yes. While probably not the ideal practice, it certainly would work as a temporary fix.

Good notes fellas, I will be on sandlin this weekend. Know people I can jump off there but no one here in the concrete jungle around me with 36v.
Charger didn’t come in so that’s my only hope.
Thinking my power pole charge is the problem as I ran 3 days after I drained the battery the first time..somehow it charged in between.
Hopefully someone finds this thread a year from now and it saves them some time
