Now is the time to catch stripers on top at Beaver Lake. You do need a morning with no wind, which has been tough to get this year so far. Have to be on the water early too. Fished Beaver lake several years ago, Caught this one in the first 20 minutes of a 3 day trip. It was downhill from there. Day time temps never got out of the 30's. Solid , healthy and full of eggs ?? Possibly, but they should be done spawning. Gut full of shad would be my bet. Did not keep that one so don't know for sure.
