could somebody yell at him to go scope the community holes........

Caught the very beginning of live in the morning and he said he was going to buzzbait and a few other big fish baits up shallow all day and no scoping. Guess that didn't work out.

The scopers will fill the entire top 10 by Sunday. They have it mostly covered already. Love it lol. By the end of the year they will make up probably 30 of the 40 classic spots.

I'd say that's a pretty safe bet considering 80% of the field could now be considered "scopers"......they all have it, vast majority know how to use it and use it effectively. Yes, some are better at it than others. But it's got to the point where saying 75% of the classic spots will be scopers is like saying 75% of the spots will go to guys with spot lock. I can think of about 10 "non-scopers" left.

Watching some Live - Przekurat and McKinney are scoping, but catching them on old school lures - 6XD and a jig.

It’s pretty sad when the three best anglers in Texas are sitting around 75th on a lake they are very familiar with. It’s over Johnny!

The scopers cometh and the scopers taketh away. They need to limit this sh#t in 2026, MLF made the right call this year.

You can add Welcher to that list, he uses it out of necessity but hates it in competition

He may not like it, but he just won a tournament by a record margin using it to catch almost all his fish. Big difference between liking/disliking it and not being able to use it.

And by the way, what an amazing lake. Hard to argue with it being the best in the country.....plenty of others could be argued for as well, but hard not to include Fork in the conversation.

They pretty much destroy the whole "gates are open, fish won't bite" argument.

And that is a dam shame...cause I am running out of excuses...

I accept those that qualify for the classic over who I want in the classic. Was interesting to hear the TPWD guy on live saying they have been studying FFS for 5 years and find no affect on the population. Poor Randy

I’m gonna go ahead and say there had to have been some gaping holes in their scientific method. Not many are proficient with FFS now, much less 5 years ago.

Randy’s opinion is just as relevant as anyone else’s opinion on the matter.

This is like saying you can only catch fish on a minnow. Pretty sure you can catch them on all sorts of lures, they’re bass, they will bite just about anything up to and
Including cigarette butts.
