Were there any indications that the dog was about to bite that you maybe overlooked?

That dog should be thankful it was you. That dog would be "missing" if it were mine. ^^^^^

It was just a misunderstanding. Next time, feed it on time and it won’t have to make you his bitch anymore.

I’m very thankful that yee was patient with his pup through their brief conflict this morning. Dogs are precious and through patience on our part almost always are our best friends ALL the time.
If ever you feel like you’re going to shoot your dog, contact me, I’ll find a proper home for the pup.

Take the dog for a ride in the country, then turn it loose to frolic in the grass and flowers. Blast away with whatever heavy artillery you have! I wouldn't tolerate a dog that bites it's owner! that’s disheartening I think the word you were looking for is disturbing...

I’ve seen far too many dead dogs tied up to trees with bullet wounds in them in this part of the country, makes me sad

Let that pup lick it, the ultimate antiseptic. Ultimate old wives tale.
Advice? Wise men don't need it. Fools won't heed it !
