My first choice would be Bass Cat, closely followed by Phoenix.

You happy with it? Wasn’t sure about them since bass pro owns em now

They put their “touch” on them here and there. Lol. They’re about 98% Ranger now. roflmao

Why would you RIVET the lids on, I have already had to drill out one hinge and replace it with stainless steel screws.

The majority of the build and design is still Ranger. Fit and finish is excellent on everything, even what you can’t see.

Night and day ahead of skeeter.

Not a high bar. My 2022 Skeeter ZX225 must have been put together by a 14 year old kid with no practical experience. Every time I dig into something I find stripped screws and misalignments. Every deck lid leaks like a screen door , no amount of latch adjustment helps, Windscreen mounting holes have cracked out from over tightening. Everything that was cut out of the fiberglass looks like it was done with a hammer and chisel. First brand new boat ive ever owned. Im 69 , so probably just keep it and cuss a lot.

I am running a 2023 Caymas right now, it has hardly been used in the past couple years, doubt I buy another new bass boat but if I do I would look at Ikon, I will most likely buy me a bad arse center console of some sort and just keep my Caymas, may start chasing crappie and stripers up on Texoma since I do have a lake cabin up there.

That’s what I’m running now is a triton. It’s an older model ‘09 21x3 dc. Nice boat but I’d like a little wider at the front

Last year I almost pulled the trigger on a Vexus VXs 20. Talked myself out of it and instead just upgraded all the electronics on my Phoenix. Retiring later this year and it probably has more life left in it then me

Me personally, I would go see Tommy at Rockwall Marine and order a new Basscat Jaguar with a Mercury 500R if money was no option, then I would have my tournament rig, a Puma STS with a 250 4S. Or I just may cut out Tommy and go straight to Basscat and see Mr. Rick Pierce. But if not Basscat a Phoenix

If I were looking I would be checking out the Vexus VXS 21. Ikon and the new BassCat Lynx would be in the running as well.

My boat selecting is probably the worst part of me having ADD. If I bought a new one; unless I come across a deal on one of the top brands; new old stock or something like that, I'd probably land on the one my mind locked into at the moment. My favorite as far as layout is the Z21 Nitro.

I finally got to lay my eyes on one of the new Rangers last weekend at Bass Pro in Round Rock. They have some in stock as of about a month ago apparently. I was really curious to see what they looked like compared to my 2013 Z520. I have read where the quality had gone downhill. I honestly thought they looked to be very well built. I would say the customer service has certainly gone downhill when you call them. I still think I would buy another one. Sucks to have to buy it from Bass Pro but I certainly would have my service done elsewhere. The Bass Pro in Round Rock kinda sucks for service.
