I’ll be on someone’s boat Thursday-Friday as a judge. Looking forward to the front row seat!

I was wondering why Trey Mckinney was on Athens last week.

McKinney, Przekurat, Milliken

Wonder why Keith Combs doesn't do well at Fork anymore? The weights he used to put up would compete with FFS.

Timing. When he was cracking 100 pounds in a 3 day TTBC, it was a bit later and the fish were moved out and ganged up on points. I was in a boat with Mark Rose the final day of that derby and they shared a giant school of big bass and never ran out all day just pulling crankbaits and swimbaits through there. The fish aren't stacked up out there like that now.

Did that last year and had a blast. More water in Fork this time than last year in late Feb. Warmer weather too.

Should be a good one if they can dodge the thunderstorms.

Do you have to pay to be a judge?

Yeah, I had some good shad spawn topwater action the other morning. Could make for some good TV for those watching....

Yeah Roosterhead, lake level shot up pretty fast in a few hours but if it's flooding downstream it's a fine line to keep dumping massive amounts of water. Above my pay grade but my guess is water level on Fork will be a roller coaster for the next 3 days which should make for a very interesting tournament.
