Saw one on I45 a week ago, had a human in the passenger seat. Changed lanes to get around a slower car... signaled, flashed lights, very smooth and better than most drivers....

As long as they stay in the right lane... well 👍. I'm not against the technology, just color me skeptical.
My prediction is, at some point there will be a major chain reaction accident and the trial lawyers will feast... and both the companies utilizing em and their insurance carriers will be obliterated (if the judicial system allows the suits to proceed to trial). Juries ain't going to like corporations replacing humans with computers at the expense of their fellow citizens lives... IMOP.
