I was under the impression it was made in Texas.

I ordered a gallon on October 2 2024, and received an email that it was delay on October 6 2024. Then on October 10 2024, a shipping label was created and being shipped out of Alabama.

I guess it’s now being mass produced and no longer made in Texas. frown

He started the bait in Lubbock Texas and then relocated to Granbury.

We moved production to our factory in Fort Smith, Arkansas when we bought the company. It's still being made the same way in small batches with the same ingredients and processes. To scale the product the way we needed to we had to have a LOT more room and staff than the barn in Granbury. smile It ships from our warehouse in Calera, Alabama where all of our orders ship from. We have to find efficiencies where we can!

No, unfortunately I just don't have time any more. Maybe some day,

He's got to be near 85 years old and he's still working his tail off. His bait is the best bang for the buck. It's half the price of most competitors and it simply works. Only thing is if it's real hot you sometimes have to add cotton to it, to keep it on a trebble hook. Or if its real hot keep chilled on ice that works as well. Best way to thicken it up is with cat tails. Bust up one of those cattail heads and add to it.

He actually started making the bait in Lubbock Texas and then relocated to Granbury.

Been using Mr. Whiskers Punch Bait since last Fall and it's as good as you can find. I was a loyal Danny Kings user for 20 years but got dissatisfied after they changed hands again. Mr. Whiskers Blood and the Plain Cheese catch equally well on Richland Chambers. We mainly target "Eater Size" Channel and Blue Cats from October thru February and fish the timber up the Richland Creek Arm of the Lake. No problem with Ordering, Receiving, Cost, or use as it stays on the Hook and no smell like after a trip when using DK's. Try it and I bet you'll like it! Check us out at www.gonefishin.biz

I remember when the white bass guides would meet their clients at the cafe at Amistad Lodge and the catfish guides Dave Ross and Gene Piel and I assume Tom would meet the clients at Anglers Lodge when it was active. Ross had a Robalo and Gene ran a Sunset and they would have a bunch of cats to clean when they came in. If the wind was real bad they would meet up at Hectors Store in Box canyon! David probably remembers most of that I bet!
