CBS is stretching the truth (not a new thing for sure) about this morning's launch of some random folks into space. They are telling us that this is the first all-female "CREW" ever to go into space.

They will be "in space" for a minute or so. It's a ride (up and back) of less than 11 minutes, but it does just barely get them above an arbitrary line (miles high) that has been established as SPACE.

The CREW will do nothing but sit there in a circle and unbuckle for probably less than a minute to float in the capsule. Wouldn't the term "crew" indicate that they would actually do something concerning the mission. I doubt that Katy Perry and Gayle King will do anything other than draw attention to this "space flight." I'm more fascinated that the booster rocket will return to a launch pad on earth.

How many of them will need a jock strap ?
