Neighbor had a couch by the curb. Not here, another place. Really clean looking couch. I brought it inside.

One day, I feel bites on my legs. Look close, bed bugs.

The girlfriend bought an all organic spray. Pet safe stuff. I used two bottles on the couch. Every nook and cranny. It worked. It killed them. Never had a problem after that. They weren't that hard to kill.

Neighbor lady never said anything. Like why she sat that nice couch by the curb. She did me dirty.

There is a product that is called Alpine flea and bed bug. If it works on bed bugs as good as it does fleas, it will get rid of them. You can also try treating everything with a Phantom and Gentrol mix as well. The Gentrol is a growth regulator. You have to treat every single crack and crevice in the room as well as all crack and crevices on any furniture.

So are bed bugs like fleas? I really don’t think I’ve ever seen one.

It's a tiny, slower moving, beetle, looking bug. That bites to feed on blood. Never knew what they were until my first encounter. The bites hurt and they keep biting. Horrible little things.

Cut with her golden oars the silver stream,
And greedily devour the treacherous bait.

I for one am shocked to hear that the dumpster couch gave you bed bugs...

What kind of world is it where a guy can't trust a dumpster couch!? SMDH

They look absolutely nothing like a beetle

Wash all bed sheet fabric in HOT, HOT water with bleach.
Get rid of any mattress and box spring. Spray any fabric surface in the housie with bleach.

Better off just burning the house down and finding a new place.

I used to travel alot for work. This is why I always pull the sheets off the hotel bed and inspect it before I even unpack. They say you
you should inspect the mattress for blood and bed bug [censored]. They apparently will hitchhike home in your luggage with you. Then you have them at your house...

I never found any. But I did pass a cleaning lady in the hall once with a spray bottle labeled bed bugs. Not sure what it was, not staying there no more...

I’m not encouraged at this point.
