Yee yee speaks the truth.

Acting upon his tip I stopped at a "Murphy's" on the way to the lake this morning. Through the thick plexiglass and half outside half inside store, I asked the gentleman if they had a special going on Winston's. Especially as related to a carton of Winston. He wasn't sure but would check.

After some debate about which ones might be the "lights" (I Don't smoke Winston's, but if the reports on the price were true, I'd try em) the handsome clerk (he looked like old Beavis) scanned said carton and informed me it would be $45 including tax.

Winston tasted good like a cigarette should.

I didn't see any beer. The store was basically outside, in the middle of the parking lot. Like you would see in Mexico. I wouldn't imagine they would leave the beer outside with the Cokes. Never seen anybody do a Coca-Cola run. Any beer out there would be a very soft target.

In summary if you're still stupid enough to smoke even if just occasionally, this is 65% off the price of like Marlboros. They aren't bad.

Oh what did I catch at the lake you ask?

A flathead. I caught one yesterday on a jerkbait while bass fishing. That inspired me to go back and fish from the bank and specifically try to catch a flathead in that area.

Not a big one, but the plan worked. In two days I've doubled my total lifetime catch of flatheads.

To smoke, or not to smoke, that is the question:
Whether 'tis nobler in the mind to blow
The rings of smoke or outrageous brown spital
Or to take arms against a sea of troubles
And by opposing vape them. To smoke—to dip,
to vape, No more; and by taking the smoke we end
The heart-ache and the thousand natural shocks
That stopping smoking is heir to: 'tis a consummation
Devoutly to be wish'd. To smoke, to dip;
To vape, perchance to dream—ay, there's the rub.
For in that puff of death what dreams may come,
When we have shuffled off this mortal coil,
Must give us pause—there's the sickness
That makes calamity of so long a life.

That's the purpose of fishing. How calm do you need to be?

No no no, you give the anxiety meds to the fish, not the fisherman. A study has demonstrated that anxiety meds alter the behavior of salmon. They take more risk when negotiating dams and waterfalls which increases their chances of spawning.

Hmmmm

It is one way to chum for minnows.
*allegedly
As a person once informed me that yeet attracts shad and minnows of all sorts, you just have to net them as they gobble it up.

Weed smoke doesn't stick. Cigs are an outside thing.
