I donโt put salad  on my cheeseburger. This. I don't like a bunch of filler junk on my burger. I like the taste of the burger. Why dilute with a bunch of vegetarian junk piled so high you have to unhinge your lower jaw to eat it.

Cheese on patty, then ketchup, then thick onion slice, then yellow mustard, then lettuce then mayo on top bun.
I will vary occasionally with japs and/or bacon

I still have the habit that I picked up at Sonic 30 years ago. The bottom bun gets mustard, pickles, lettuce, tomato this is the correct way.

Onion and tomato on bottom followed by lettuce. This keeps bottom bun from getting soggy. Meat with cheese on top of lettuce followed by bacon. Toast both buns, no pickles and always mayonnaise. ๐๐๐๐
