If you aint scoping, you just hoping.... Lee was the real winner in my book. But my book dont amount to chit. Take the scope out of the game and there's a whole new shakeup... most of the newest young heros would be in the back of the pack. Video games have taken over all the youth, from home to boat... That was probably the hardest coverage to watch. The commentary from the 3-stooge's booth was horrible. I would rather see them panning between all the anglers, whether they are catching or not! I would much rather hear the anglers telling us what's going through their minds at the moment. fyi- I have a scope, and still suck. I can catch everything except bass with it I agree on the coverage. It's just horrible. I agree they need to show more on the water coverage. I get that they were at a lake where there were not lots of numbers being caught, and that creates more dead time. The obvious answer to that is more cameras on the water. Seems to me they could come up with a go pro type camera in every boat that they could get footage to use, even if it isn't live. They obviously have the ability to put starlink on boats now. So there is a solution to getting more near live broadcast content outside of adding more camera crews. Will the footage be as good? No. But its better than listening to Mercer rattle his fat jaws for two hours in the middle of the day.

I won't be watching the Classic or any other tournament where FFS is allowed. I am not going to bash the fishermen; it's just my choice.

I just don't know how/if they can pull that footage to use throughout a day.

I watched for several hours Friday morning.. I thought it was great.. first time ever watching.. tried to watch it Saturday and it put me to sleep... feel sorry for anyone that had to fill up the dead time with their forced comments on air. Cameras on every boat, maybe not live, but enough delay that the best video gets shown after production team gets a look at what is actually taking place.. dont believe anyone would complain if the end product was much better.

56 anglers, cameras in every boat, 8 fishing hours, pre tournament interviews, post fishing interviews... All in a fours hour live show... I't be impossible to get footage, edit it and get it on the air and make it a watchable product... There's no other sport/ activity where the participants are spread across 29,350-acre that could be done in an action packed format that would be watchable... Live bass fishing is what it is... Dan
