Nobody is putting their scope away until they tell them they have to.

Though I’ll keep saying it. The weights haven’t changed and most of the field is off the “traditional pattern” water, so what’s the problem, the non-scopers can’t fish anymore? They have less pressure on “their” fish at these events now.

Livesay said “here….hold my scope!” Throwing a swim jig. McKinney has a broken Garmin….no scope.

2 outta the top 3 are just fishing.

I like seeing the young scopers whack them. Hamner just scoped up a good one.

It's such a mental game and there's a ton of pressure to win this event. Whether they actually are or not, people will feel like they're at a disadvantage if they aren't on the live sonar bite.

I'm sure it's a lot more comfortable during an event like this to see what you're throwing at vs conventional fishing. Even if you might be able to achieve the same results. It's all about confidence.

I was watching him earlier, he was definitely scoping. Didn't see the break, must have happened after he got his 23 LBs.

lol. Man. I have to agree, the sever overuse of dot dot dots and ending every single post with dot dot dot dan is pretty silly. I get that you’re trying to be edgy but it’s about as corny as Don Barone’s sctick

The real question is "Who Cares?"

Made for TV fishing, FFS or no, sucks.

I don't watch any of it, anymore.

If you aint scoping, you just hoping.... Lee was the real winner in my book. But my book dont amount to chit. Take the scope out of the game and there's a whole new shakeup... most of the newest young heros would be in the back of the pack. Video games have taken over all the youth, from home to boat...

That was probably the hardest coverage to watch. The commentary from the 3-stooge's booth was horrible. I would rather see them panning between all the anglers, whether they are catching or not! I would much rather hear the anglers telling us what's going through their minds at the moment.

went to the expo and I am an old guy now and realized just how much the game has passed me by. New generation and it's theirs just
like it was ours at one time. Still love to fish though and will til they stick me it the ground.

The anglers would be brutal also... Yeah, I got here after blowing the doors off the competition in my new prototype bass boat with a flashed hydro blaster by Mercury. It ain't on the market yet but it's a game changer... I'm using the new prototype Humminbird for mappin', a new prototype Lowrance for watchin' March Madness and the super secret prototype Garmin for the heavy lifting... Now as far as heavy you should check out the new lightweight prototype Shimano minnow shaker. This rod don't weigh nothin'... Now I've given everyone all my secrets, hopefully some of the other pros will watch this later on this evening and have to self report and get Dq'ed...

Then here on the TFF linguistics can talk about all the fake accents the pros have... Dan roflmao

I agree on the coverage. It's just horrible. I agree they need to show more on the water coverage. I get that they were at a lake where there were not lots of numbers being caught, and that creates more dead time. The obvious answer to that is more cameras on the water. Seems to me they could come up with a go pro type camera in every boat that they could get footage to use, even if it isn't live. They obviously have the ability to put starlink on boats now. So there is a solution to getting more near live broadcast content outside of adding more camera crews. Will the footage be as good? No. But its better than listening to Mercer rattle his fat jaws for two hours in the middle of the day.

I won't be watching the Classic or any other tournament where FFS is allowed. I am not going to bash the fishermen; it's just my choice.

Both major tours already require a gopro style camera in every boat. I just don't know how/if they can pull that footage to use throughout a day.

Require Starlink on all boats and hook up a streaming cam or two on each boat!

I watched for several hours Friday morning.. I thought it was great.. first time ever watching.. tried to watch it Saturday and it put me to sleep... feel sorry for anyone that had to fill up the dead time with their forced comments on air. Cameras on every boat, maybe not live, but enough delay that the best video gets shown after production team gets a look at what is actually taking place.. dont believe anyone would complain if the end product was much better.

56 anglers, cameras in every boat, 8 fishing hours, pre tournament interviews, post fishing interviews... All in a fours hour live show... I't be impossible to get footage, edit it and get it on the air and make it a watchable product... There's no other sport/ activity where the participants are spread across 29,350-acre that could be done in an action packed format that would be watchable... Live bass fishing is what it is... Dan
