I wish they’d abolish having to drive 1-1/2 in I20 traffic to get a stupid boat registration! Why it can’t be done at a local county tax office is beyond me i know what you mean, but, i have not had to visit the office in Houston in 10 years. It comes in the mail. do people actually go into the office every 2 years?

Gillespie, Kendall and Bandera all have TPWD renewal spots in the tax accessor collector office. Not sure why, we don’t have any lakes around here anymore.

Posted 1:59 PM, Mar 25, 2025 Lauren Adams Hi! I'm Lauren Adams, your Senior Neighborhood Reporter in Central Texas.
CENTRAL TEXAS (KXXV) — Waco’s State Representative Pat Curry got a lot of Central Texans talking when he filed a bill to get rid of the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department.
25 News talked to Curry and he says it was intended to get their attention, which it did, so he has put that bill on hold for now.
