First home computer was an IBM PC JR
I still have it in the original box along with a couple of cartridges that came with it.

We had this great game called “Cut Throat”. There we no graphics. It was simply a game where you typed everything you did and used your imagination. There was a hard copy map that you used to give yourself some visualization as to your location. It was really fun.

Sperry Univac 1050-II …wasn’t mine, but I operated it for the USAF from 1980 to 1993. First personal computer I bought was in 95/96 and an HP, I think. Whole system was around $2,500.

It was a Hewlett Packard office computer that my mom got in 1985...brought it home for us to use when they got a divorce in 1989. It was very nice for the time and even had a laser printer and touch screen (required a special frame). Got a Dell in 2001.

DANG! Even Joshua had that in 1991 (might have been around earlier, but that's the first year any of my friends took it. Heck, I know they did. I took a computer programming class in 1988 in Middle School, now that I think of it.

Some small box we received in the mail. Had a small orange screen and keyboard. Was pretty much useless.

It was an Atari 1200XL. My best friend had a TI-99/4A and we argued a lot about which one was better. Neither one was very good.

Ours was a Commodore 64 as well. Mom got the machine, I got the box. Also remember the whole gaming scene on there....

First personal computer @ home was a Gateway. I don`t remember the cost, but it was a butt load. I think it was over 2 grand easily and 2 grand would go a long way in 1997.

IBM PS2. It had 800 baud dial up modem, floppy disc, and one really small memory card. The matching printer too.
Bought it at Dillards department store. Probably paid $2500 for all of it.

We finally got our second redlight around 1985...We got a McDonald's about 6 years ago...and we're getting a Whataburger. So, yeah.
