Howdy,

I have an older 85 HP Yamaha outboard and I had my prop stolen awhile back while the boat was in storage. So, I bought a McGard prop lock designed for Yamaha motors... only, not my Yamaha motor. Next I ended up finding an older prop lock off eBay and while the McGard installation seemed pretty straight forward, this older prop lock and the instructions that came with it.... well.... let's just say that it seems a bit beyond my understanding... I am hesitant to try and get something wrong to where I cannot undo what I've done.

Anyone have any expertise or experience with anything similar, or any other info that might help?

Thanks in advance!

welp.... I figured it out .... with the help of Melvin's Lakeside Services on Ray Bob in Sanger, Texas.

Solid folks over there I must say. They helped me out and treated me right. Give them a shot.
