Came over the 1st bridge on tawakoni from Emory and waves hitting the bank. I took spray on my windshield, and there were 3' swells easy with a few close to 4'

Not sure what Gambler you were in or what “ate it up” means but mine rides way too flat…..I’ve speared more waves with it (21’) than I did with a 17’10” Pro Gator. Land lubber in the wind!

How’s the ride compared to your skeeter?

I survived the lake Sunday. I wouldn’t have even launched the Skeeter. Hahah.

There is no comparison on the ride. The Ranger is a BIG HEAVY boat. The Skeeter weighs a lot less…..
The new Ranger eats waves. The Skeeter requires a lot of driver input to work with the waves

He was in a 18.5’ skeeter, a 20’ ranger is a big difference

Id love to try it in a Bass Cat Jaguar. My Caracal has got me back to the ramp in really crazy conditions on Rayburn but its an experience for sure.

Is the video of the Allison supposed to be impressive? It’s in slow motion.

I’ve never heard any brag about an Allison’s ability in rough water. I guess that’s why there are zero of them on truly big waters. Lake st Clair, Great Lakes, etc.

Haha. Yeh. It’s not apples to oranges. It’s more like apples to grapes.

The TZX190 with a 150 is a little less boat. And the two feet of length and 1/2 foot of width is a world of difference.

By what standard? If it just rough water ability all kinds of boats are good at that. The Allison had a horrible layout, no way they are the “best” rough water boat. All that guy was doing was keeping the nose pointed to the moon, anyone can do that..
