Meth? What are you from 1980’s? It’s all about open border texican fentynal now. Thankfully texmex bbq will never be a thing.

You need to get out of Methtucky more. Texas is full of Tex-Mex BBQ joints and they are 100 times better than anything Kentucky has to offer.

Just out of curiousity, do a lot of Texans go on the Kentucky Cousin Kissing Forum and talk [censored] about Kentucky?

Kentucky is basketball country, so that area is mostly ignored until the end of March.

I freaking love Rudy’s sauce and make a clone that is really close.

For store bought, Blues Hog Smokey Mountain and Tennessee Red are excellent imo

I’m not a big fan of Rudy’s BBQ, but we have a client that will drop off Rudy’s brisket tacos for breakfast occasionally. I don’t know what it is, but those breakfast tacos are effing awesome.

Wait…..brisket being BBQ and taco/tortillas/salsa being Tex-Mex, wouldn’t that be Tex-Mex BBQ? Someone recently told us that Tex-Mex BBQ would never be a thing 🤔🤔

Texas BBQ is 1/3 German 1/3 Western frontier 1/3 Vaquero.

I just wish the rest of the world would get on the breakfast taco train. They are all but impossible to find outside of Texas.

I hate breakfast unless it’s in taco form

I’ve never once tasted any bbq and thought “this would be better without sauce”

Only on chicken for me please……and just a light glaze.
Love pulled pork with no sauce in there. The thought of piling up mostly vinegar on meat is not appetizing. Taking shots of vinegar is for Tik Tok.

We have a Jenkins in Jacksonville, it's pretty good - mostly mustard based sauces, but good. Very popular place, simple menu, really on a few items, pork sandwich, rib sandwich, or chicken. Though it was just a local joint, didn't realize they had other locations though.

Taco or burrito?

Burrito rolled
Taco folded
Chalupa flat

Never had a brisket chalupa but I'm not against it.

Nah man. Sorry, but that is a non-Texan definition. Burrito vs taco is based on size, not fold. When I hear breakfast burrito, I know it’s some yankee abomination

Where’s a tostada fit in there?
