Got a bill from medical equipment supplier Breg. My post-insurance payment is $163.70 (Forget exact original cost, something over $400). That's for a wrist brace that's virtually identical to the one I bought at Walmart, pre-doctor visit, for $19.97.

ACA or Obamacare you just pick your insurance provider like Blue Cross Or Blue Shield, Aetna, Ambetter, etc, thru the open market and you can't be denied for pre existing conditions.
You are dealing with a insurance company directly.

The Affordable Care Act, aka Obamacare, did nothing to make healthcare more affordable. Prices and premiums only went up, way up. Thanks to that [censored] we all have a version of major medical at an inflated price Yipee.

Every time I've checked there is no published record of how many Americans who "If you like your insurance you can keep your insurance" lost their insurance, only to be penalized by the IRS if they didn't purchase a much more expensive "affordable" plan. Anybody ever wonder why that is?
