I have 2 Lowrance HDS Live Units connected by ethernet on my boat. A HDS12 @ the console & a Hds 9 @ the bow.The 12 has a C-Map reveal chip but the 9 does not.Since they are connected can the 9 get the same Chart features as the 12 or does the 9 need it`s own Reveal chip to get those features?

They can share.
Once on the map screen, hit menu, then at the bottom right it will show chart options available on your network. Simply highlight the maps you’d like to use.
However, make sure that your Ethernet cable is good. It is notoriously easy to have one fail.
