We headed south today to see if our honey holes still had any water. One was still fishable so we fished off the bank. We caught 15 crappie and they were all within a foot from the bank.




Also caught a lmb

All fish caught on JIGLYF jigs and released to swim another day.

There was one other guy fishing there and saw we were catching crappie and asked us what we were using and we showed him our jigs. We told him we tie our own jigs. After we got done fishing we walked back to the 4runner and started shooting at a can with our slingshots. After a while that same guy comes to us and asked us if we could sale him some jigs and he would cash app us.(we don't have cash app) The one day we don't take extra jigs . Leo just gave him some of the ones off our fishing poles. He thanked us and he went back to his spot. He put one on his line and caught a crappie while we were still there. He yelled at us and said "I caught one!" We both said yay!

We think this is the first wave of spawning crappie.

Awesome post. You and Leo keep doing God's work, like you have always done while fishing. Sharing your knowledge and tackle with others is not only what fishing is all about, but life in general.
