If you have ever taken a city bus to go fishing as a kid ….. you might be a redneck fisherman.

About 35 years ago I was in my boat crappie fishing at Richland Chambers. I was up in a creek. They were so shallow I pulled my boat to the bank and got out and started bank fishing. I had my sons Snoopy reel and rod. I took the reel off and tied about 5 feet of line on the last rod guide and a jig on the other end. I snatched my limit in about 45 minutes. That whole story is as redneck as you can get😁😁

I’d answer you beartrap if I knew what you what you just posted. You’re either drunk or speaking another language😁 I only know of a cane pole and 100 lb mono in that post bolt

A sculling paddle is a means of propelling the boat; Google "sculling". Nip I Diddee was an early wooden slush bait. I think Heddon or South Bend marketed it.

Yep! If you couldn't find a good stick for the line, you used the can!

Sparkplugs were reserved for getting a line to come loose when the hook was caught on something. Never used it for a weight to fish with.
