Are you implying there is more to Scott’s story than what was said during his interview? According to some there is a video of the conversation which makes me think it's a set up. The video is mentioned on the luke dunkin podcast but he is a pot stirring s ball so who knows. I think what made me raise an eyebrow was in his video he said he had to be reminded of it..... how are you reminded about a conversation in this case? Did someone else hear it and report? Is there a video of it? That one statement about being reminded of it is a little troubling.

Someone reminding him of conversation sounds like blackmail honestly.

Also, one of the reasons the mlf thing came about was due to the no info rule. The big stars at the time, cofounders of mlf really didn’t like it.

In my opinion, from what I gather. They can’t discuss with a lake with anyone for 30 days now and in the old days, they could not PURCHASE information about a lake. Under the current rules, Elite anglers cannot discuss any lake on the schedule once the schedule is announced with anyone other than other Elite anglers. I have never heard of any rule against seeking information prior to the current rule except for what Roland and Davy said in the video. I have known and fished with quite a few of the older guys and information gathering was always a big deal. Y’all are right, I forgot the olds were crying about the rookies winning everything and they created this rule that’s now back firing on the olds.
