You do realize it's a 12-inch minimum in Florida and BassTrak is not an exact weight, correct?

*** I do realize that there is a 12” minimum. The likely reason bass doesn’t have a 14”min like a lot of trails, is about 1/2 the field would zero otherwise. Allowing them to keep 12” fish is a “participation trophy” kinda.

***I also realize those aren’t exact weights, as they could actually be much less than what bass estimates.

It’s possible they inflate those weights so it doesn’t look totally and completely ridiculous that they allow those tiny fish in the live well and likely end up in the daily creel. Bass elite anglers might also hope the fish they catch each day don’t swim up into and get stuck in the Livewell drain tube.

I do applaud your dedication to trolling BASS. If you're going to take a stance, whether a complete pile of BS or not, at least be consistent, and that you are. Good day, sir.

They put camera in boats like last years AOY and rookie or too they think will do good after day 1 they will make adjustments based on who the hot reels are expect it to be better from here on out. But there’s always the chance they bust on a guy who has caught them day before.

Kinda looks about how it should….a lot FFS guys just don’t really thrive fishing on true knowledge and past experiences. But…..we all know they will sack em up when the trail heads to different lakes.

Glad to see the Canadian [censored] below the 50 cut. Haha.

Good post, but the average size fish weighed to make the 50 cut today @ BASS is higher than the average size fish weighed to WIN the BPT tournament @ Conroe (the BPT tourney people were "flapping your gums about"). So, yeah, guys can suck and weigh small fish all day.....but they don't end up in the top 10.

And don't get me wrong, I agree nobody cares about watching 12-14" bass being caught, hence BASS coverage was brutal today.....

Go USA Hockey!!

Gum flappers unite…bass is showing the world how it’s done. It’s clear the wheels are off at bass when this type of nonsense is happening at a supposed professional level. Soak it up 2usedfish…

They’re talking outta their [censored]. It’s ok. 35 degree cold front in Florida. Those fish won’t eat. These guys are MAKING them eat. It’s actually pretty impressive.

I think you and your bff jones predicted the end of B.A.S.S. many years ago and no anglers have left B.A.S.S. since the original bunch. But many have returned and many more have tried but failed through the opens. But believe what you want. But you do need to go see dr about getting on some meds. Or maybe find you a girlfriend.

I’m the OP and truly enjoying watching Lowen slam em on swim jigs. Great coverage today. Post was never meant to entice one series vs the other

No kidding! FL string largies are the most temperamental breed of bass when it comes to temp swings.
