As many gillnets that are in that lake I'm surprised there's any fish at all.

Squaw Creek right here by my house! Millions of em. You can fish for them with worms on a heavy drop shot rig or just go out in a undersized row boat and throw a cast net until your boat is literally filled from gunnel to gunnel and then swamp and drown on your way back to the boat ramp. Sorry, got carried away with the factual commentary. Squaw Creek has millions of em!

You forgot the part about pulling into a cove where people are fishing and pull in between them and the bank and start throwing your net.
Just one more cast!

Just make sure to bang the lead weights against your tin boat the whole time and slam coolers around too.

Second the Squaw Creek statements. I caught one that was 3.5 lbs a few weekends ago on a jerk bait. Fun fighting fish.

It's been many years since I fished Gibbons Creek, but I caught a lot of really huge ones on crankbaits in there. I imagine the warm water discharge has sustained the population through the really cold periods since then.
