Lesson learned Bob, drive that hour next time. I always have driven back to the dealership to get my plates even if it’s an hour away even though that’s 20 miles here.

We're close to Wichita Falls and if I was to mail my neighbor a letter it goes through Ft. Worth before he receives it.

Man that sucks.
I had a terrible experience with the USPS that involved theft that I don't think I should post about in the open forum. Quite shocking though. Did they steal your Viagra? Here is actual tracking on an item I ordered recently. It was sent from Missouri, made it to Texas then was sent to Florida and has been back in Texas a couple of days. Its insane.

Are you sure they mailed them? When I bought my car in September 2020, they assured me the plates would be mailed to me. When the expiration date on the paper plate came and went, I called the dealership...they were sitting in the receptionist's desk drawer. Yeah. So, maybe the incompetence isn't with the post office (although it very well could be), but with the dealership. I had this same situation in 2019..

If private companies had a distribution system like USPS they would go bankrupt. Wait a minute I think USPS is bankrupt. Not sure what it is about YBOR City, FL but I have had stuff routed through there that made no sense.
There are days I don't even check my mail box and sometimes when I do I open and close it when I see junk. About the only thing I was getting that was not junk was grocery store flyers and I no longer get those. I can view online but paper 1s are easier to view

I ordered an item from the BPS website... It ask you to choose you store... I pick the one 45 minutes from the house... Says it's in stock so I order it. Twenty five minutes later I get the Your item has shipped email... From Wisconsin???... So I'm watching the the shipping track it literally ends up at the UPS shipping facility less than a mile from BPS I chose as My Store... ... Dan

The infinite loop with the dallas distro center in recent months is real. I had a package going from Lindale to Caddo Mills get stuck in it for 2 weeks.

Oh great.
I'm waiting on something from USPS myself right now.
Sat in Dallas for 3 or 4 days says it's out for delivery now. We shall see.
If my package ends up at Bob's house he'll be disappointed it's not his plates. If it ends up here, I will hold it for ya!  My package showed up today!
