Ramps? They don't need no stinking ramps.

Almost 45 feet low..

Concrete ramp is good at county park in Zapata. Getting out of Veleno will not be possible if we lose another foot of water. Best fishing mid lake south so I would just go down to state park, where we are launching on a rocky point. No sweat. Navigating lake is also no sweat, but if you have never been here before stop in and talk to me first. I will point you in the right direction.

It's not ideal but easily doable..

And as always you can keep up with Falcon doings on my site..

The fish are chewing right now.. FWIW

Went out this morning and tore up the 1-4 pounders, they were really active hitting cranks and soft plastics. Was not able to locate the bigger ones though. The bigger fish we did catch appeared to be loaded with eggs still, so things are about to happen. Overall great day on the water, haven’t caught that many fish in one trip in a long time. Launched at the county ramp and was reading 2.9 feet over the sand bar at Valeno/ River intersection.

Finally got on the lake today.. Single sticked it and caught about thirty five fish from 10:30 till 2:30.. Caught twenty or more on first stop and left em biting as only one was three pounds. Hop scotched around for about three more hours and did not find anything bigger than four pounds.

Tigers was full of boats and there were 25 plus rigs at the state park.

County ramp in Zapata is about done.. I would not use it anymore.. So state park is your only option.

Lots of reports good numbers of fish and a few bigguns..
