Ribeye, creamed spinach, burgundy mushrooms, salad. No potato tonight.

Anybody else do Friday night steaks?

I like Wisconsin restaurants approach: Friday night is fish, preferably either walleye or yellow perch, and Saturday night is prime rib and old fashioneds.

We used to go to the races at Elkhart Lake, WI and go in to Sheboygan on Friday night. Every bar and restaurant in town had a Friday Night Fish Fry. It was great.

A good rule of angling philosophy is not to interfere with another fisherman's ways of being happy, unless you want to be hated.

We have our big meal of the day at lunch, and Wednesday is steak day. I don't know why we chose that. Just different strokes I guess.

For many years Friday was Date Night for us, and we went out to eat. We only do that every now and then now. Eating out at any restaurant has gotten expensive lately.

Not every Friday, but we occassionally stop at Moody’s in Corpus and partake in a few of their offerings. Picked up a couple of wonderful porterhouses last time. One for my son and one that wife and I shared. He’s a big boy.
