Last night my wife made spicy extra hot tamales and chili con carne with….wait for it…. BROCCOLI! What the hell? I think she did it on purpose. I went boat shopping last night, I think this was her way of showing disapproval.  When she asked where my broccoli was, I told her I didn’t want it to get cheap chili on them.

When I was a kid I would come home from school and put some corn flakes (no sugar) in the bottom of a big glass then some Chocolate ice-cream. I`d make 2-3 layers in the glass and then go to town on it. I haven`t had it like that in 50 years but it still sound good today.

I was in South Louisiana and noticed locals putting a scoop of potato salad in their gumbo. Just seemed weird to me but a lot of folks were doing it.

At a stripes store in San Benito last week.
If it had been one dude, brushed it off as a goofball. Nope, they lined up to all do the same thing.
Get the bag of nacho chips.
Drown that in the melted cheese, cover with jalapenos.
Step over to the instant mashed potato machine, big glob on half, then to the soft serve ice cream, big glob of that, then back to the melted cheese and drown it all.
Whatever dude.

The ol’ French fry in the Wendy’s Frosty deal always seemed goofy to me…but whatever.

I thought this was going to be about eating peaches with sardines mix it. Reason I said that when I was a kid I had a friend that had an uncle or relative that ate peaches and sardines. Been to many years can’t remember exactly but I remember the peaches and sardines.
