I use Energy Ogre. Last year was paying 8.7 cents per kWh. This year renewal with different company 13.4 cents per kWh. Checked around and it's still the cheapest one going.

Might be time to rethink the solar deal.

Energy Ogre is making a lot of margin on you!

There are sub $0.11 rates out there

But agree, they are high. They are only going to get higher until we build more generation.

All has to do with the influx of people / businesses moving here.

Solar will help on the delivery side of your bill, wont have much to do with your supply $'s.

Hard to say but generally when temps stay moderate and use goes down.

Rates depend on your zip code. I just renewed coming off a 3 yr contract at 10. Best new rate from a reputable co was 14+. I locked in for 3 years again. Can always pay the break fee if it drops enough in the next 3 years.

Gloom, despair and agony on me.

Cut with her golden oars the silver stream,

I think you are right about that. We are at the very beginning of an exponential demand growth.

I saw an industry presentation from a data center company where they claimed the projects that are currently in development have a power requirement equal to 50% of the current grid capacity.

All for all mighty desire to know everything about everyone. I wish I would have never seen this happen. It's war on people and most don't even have a clue.

The irony that free market capitalism is maximized by the extremes of personal information acquisition and manipulation runs deeper each year.

That and water consumption. They use incredible amounts of water to cool equipment.
