I have basically no tech exposer. I'm up today and dividends are flowing nicely Now is a great time to get in. You think the US government will allow the use of Chinese AI? Aren’t we already allowing it? Going to be some great buys. Be careful. Falling knives are tough to catch!

After President Trump announced last week the 500 Billion in AI investment and desire to lead the world in AI technology it's certainly not a long reach for the Chinese to plant AI disinformation that impacts American investment markets. Would not doubt it 1 bit.

If you bought yesterday before close you're looking pretty sweet today.

I am trying to learn the stock market lingo, I get the catch the knife reference. Is today's gain by $NVDA a " dead cat bounce " ?

Mo, Sounds like you understand the lingo just fine! Not sure on the DC bounce, yet. Hope so!

MO I don't believe so. NVDA is the strongest positioned AI company in the world.

I don’t give financial advice, but as a longtime tech guy in the AI space, the release of DeepSeek R1 is likely to be disruptive, especially in the short term. It could impact NVIDIA's stock price and the broader AI/tech market.
Be cautious—this might drive market volatility. If you’re not following it, I’d suggest doing some research on DeepSeek and how it could put downward pressure on $NVDA and many tech stocks due to reduced GPU demand and much cheaper API costs. hey Blue Moon, how come all that information about DeepSeek R! was out earlier, in some articles weeks earlier, but the market didnt react to it until afterhours trading in the US markets. Were you short? https://medium.com/@don-lim/deepseek-r1s-secret-architects-and-the-impact-of-chinese-ai-on-silicon-valley-8a91572abf55 https://decrypt.co/302161/chinese-open-source-ai-deepseek-r1-openai-o1https://www.economist.com/briefing/2025/01/23/chinas-ai-industry-has-almost-caught-up-with-americas
