I do too, but Brookshire’s has the monopoly in T-town and surrounding area. I don’t think it’s gonna happen. Not in my lifetime anyway.

Our brookshires has a bar in it where people with nothing to do all day sit next to the produce section and drink..... their produce sucks, their meat department sucks even worse. It's fine if you need a gallon of milk or some diet coke.

The one in Bridgeport has went downhill pretty steadily the past 5 years. Their prices are like buying groceries at a convenience store. They have went up past every other grocery store price wise. It's gotten crazy.

I understand Brookshires and Brookshire Brothers are 2 different entities.

Brothers home office is Lufkin. There stores are pretty good but the killed the butcher Dept now their meat is shipped in prepackaged in my Woodville store. They do make awesome fried chicken there.
