Yep, supposedly "Jerr Solo" (too funny) has primarily turned this over to Stephen.... Schottenheimer is HIS 💯% DEAD SET choice.... Fish reported that earlier.... He's about as reliable a Cowboys source as I've found... RARELY is he in any way in error....

He is not going to mortgage the future too much, every team does a little of this by restructuring contracts. I have no issue with this.

He is also not going to tank for better draft picks, or gut the team, or let go the best QB he has unless he has a better QB to start. I agree with all of this.

Cowboys have made it well known they do not like to sign top, high dollar, free agents, these normally do not pay off, their strategy is to build from the draft and resign their own. I don’t have issue here either, although bringing back Zeek was dumb, they need a good RB.

My only issue with Jerry is his leadership style, he declaws his HC, and drives a $$$ glitz shinny star culture. This does not work in the playoffs, and we have 30 years of data to prove it.

I'm honestly embarrassed if the hire Schottenheimer. You seriously cannot make up the clown show that organization has become. Literally every decision Jerry has made since Green Bay beat them in the playoffs seems to be the worst decision that could be made. Sadly they will be worse off than they were with McCarthy.

Truly it's embarrassing at this point to see.

Its gonna be hard for me to root for Dallas from here on out. Never thought I'd feel that way but I'm about done with that team as long as Jerry is running it.

I will always pull for them to win, I’m don’t going to hate on the cowboys because of Jerry. And I’ll keep my fingers cross they go all the way, but my expectations are low. And if they suck, I won’t bother watching.

Looks like it’s gonna be Brian Schottenheimer. This part really rubs me wrong, he talks about how he would write a big check to get to the SB, but he won’t spend money on good HC. SMH

Ok, that is more like it. A real HC.

And since Schottenheimer was his former OC it seems to be a possible reason why Schottenheimer was interviewed twice. If given just a little bit of freedom I think Carroll would be good for this team. Looks like Carrool deal is gaining traction as all major sports publications, shows and both DFW newspapers are now reporting it.
