Help! I have had an infestation of ants crawling all over my desk! Will have to throw them at some hungry high country trout this summer.

I dig the popper HookLine'nSinker. Looks like a bass slayer. I've been working on a batch of Hippy Stompers to take out West but they should do just fine on the brim around here too. [Linked Image]

Simple frog fly tie of foam,
1 yellow hackle feather,
3 strands of spinnerbait skirt,
Faux Bucktail, several strands of green and polar flashy stuff on a #4 hook.
Good fly for bass and big sunfish.

Spent 2 months in Co over the summer and went back for a week on the Ark about a week ago. Now I'm biding my time until my next trip out West by catching stockers in Oklahoma. I've been playing around with extended body dry flies, all the way down to size 24 bwo's. It's been fun. Also tied up a bunch of slump busters and am working on some Rusty Trombones. Don't google that last one without putting "fly pattern" at the end. LOL. Will post pics of some more streamers soon as I've been on a streamer kick.

It’s amazing something that small catches fish.

I agree. My most effective flies lately have been in size 24 and 26 on both the Juan and the LMF. I am always amazed, they will even eat them at night!
